How Vaastushastra Transformed a Manufacturing Unit

Vaastushastra is a science based on eight directions and five elements of nature and thus can be applied universally wherever these forces exist. A manufacturing unit or factory is no exception.

We had a client who was involved in manufacturing. He owned a factory unit with products being manufactured and exported. However, during the recent times he had been facing a stagnation in the manufacturing activities and thus the overall business growth. The staff or ‘People’ play an extremely crucial role in the functioning and overall growth of any organisation. However, this organisation was facing a critical challenge of office politics and thereby lack of unity among the staff members. This situation was obviously a reason why our client- the owner of this factory was immensely stressed out and had thus approached us for seeking advice and Vaastushastra solutions.

The client shared some of his challenges being faced by him and the organization. However, Vaastushastra has the potential to identify some of the hidden or unknown challenges, and thus it becomes possible to find solutions to such challenges, too. Our focus is always on providing solutions. In this case, as well, after thorough analysis of the manufacturing unit and the seating positions of the staff members, a number of challenges- existing and potential, known and unknown ones were identified.

For instance, the finished goods had been waiting to be shipped since a while. It appeared that they had been stuck then and there and hadn’t been moving out.

On the other hand, a challenge identified which the client himself was unaware about was pertaining to theft of the raw materials. It was identified that owing to the existing position of the raw material stocks, there was a strong chance of some thefts of raw materials taking place. The client then looked into it further and thus light was thrown upon some shocking facts. Some of the very trusted staff members were involved in stealing and sale of this raw material for selfish monetary gains.

Similarly, some of the lower-level workers and especially their leader was getting influential day by day and was trying to exercise control over the entire organisation. It was getting challenging to curtail the activities of such people in the organisation. Overall productivity of the workers too had been stagnated. Other operational challenges involved electrical equipment and machinery failure or their damage; quite frequently. Thus needing a repair, thereby increasing the operational costs unnecessarily. Surprisingly, these were accepted as the ‘norms’ by the organisation.

After thorough analysis, remedial measures were recommended to the client in the form of Yantras, Mantras, and some changes related to positioning of existing people and objects. Initially, the positions of raw materials and finished goods were altered. Raw materials had been placed in the northwest direction- the direction of Air element. Hence, the raw materials too were going out rapidly along with ‘flow of the wind’. This place was instead occupied by the finished goods now for enhancing their movement. The seating position of the leader of the workers’ union was altered. He initially occupied the Southwest- the direction providing stability. Hence South West is the recommended as an appropriate direction for the head of any family or organisation. It was also noticed that the electrical equipment and machinery were placed in the northeast direction which is basically the area of Water element. Placing such heavy equipment representing Fire element in this direction, was certainly not advisable. This equipment wherever possible was placed in the Southeast- the direction influenced by Fire element. The Brahmasthan being occupied with heavy machinery, storage of goods, etc. had caused it to become heavy, and this had been adversely impacting communication between workers themselves and between workers and the management. This Brahmasthan was now cleared and ensured that the space was empty or with light weight. The necessary Yantras, too were installed to balance the flow of certain energies and for uplifting or enhancing the vibrations of the Vaastu. Certain Mantras were recommended to the client which he played on the shop floor. This too enhanced the vibrations of the area and resulted in making the workers feel calmer, more positive and productive at the workplace.
